This American heirloom variety is a tomato lover’s dream and will delight you with a bountiful harvest and unusual heart-shaped fruits! The bush is indeterminate in growth and fruiting, and the fruits are beautifully colored – with anthocyanin pigment shoulders and stripes on a dark red background, and an attractive sheen. The flesh is very sweet, oily, with a refreshing aroma and exotic flavor. The average fruit weight is 150-200 grams. However, with proper nutrition and care, they can reach a weight of 400 grams. This variety can be grown in open ground as well as in greenhouses. This variety was bred and produced by Jason Haynes through a hybridization of two varieties: “German Red Strawberry” and “OSU Blue.”
